Vouchers & Wallet Credit: Your Guide to a Cheaper Jolly

Got your hands on an On the Beach Voucher or some lovely Wallet Credit? Lucky you! Whether it was a win from a competition, a special promotion, or a little "sorry" from us to make things right, here is how you turn those digital digits into real-life Vitamin D.


Vouchers 🎫

Think of a voucher as a little something from us to help you on your next trip. We usually issue these as a gesture of goodwill if things didn't go quite to plan last time, or if you've been lucky enough to win one of our competitions 🏆

The Need-to-Knows:

  • New Bookings Only: Vouchers must be used on a brand-new booking made after the date the voucher was issued.

  • Email Match: Your new booking must be made using the same email address as the booking the voucher was issued on.

  • Instalments Only: To use a voucher, your new booking must be paid via instalments, not paid in full at the time of booking.

  • No Cash-Outs: Vouchers can’t be swapped for cash, but they are great for knocking a chunk off your holiday balance!

How to redeem it:

  1. Search for your next dream getaway, choose the instalment option at checkout, and wait for your confirmation email to land. ✈️

  2. Log into your My Booking account. 💻

  3. Find your holiday voucher waiting for you in your account. 👀

  4. Select the new booking you want to apply the voucher to. 🏨

  5. Click 'Make a Payment' and then choose the 'Claim Voucher' option. 🖱️

  6. Done! We’ll deduct the amount from your total holiday balance. 🥳


Wallet Credit 💳

Wallet Credit is like having a little holiday fund tucked away. You’ll usually find this in your account after a reward or promotion 🎁

The Need-to-Knows:

  • Apply at Checkout: Unlike vouchers, credit must be applied during checkout at the time of booking. It can't be added to a booking once it’s already confirmed.

  • Pay in Full or Part: You can use credit whether you’re paying the full balance or just a deposit.

How to use it:

  1. Log into your On the Beach account and check the 'Wallet' section to see your balance. 👛

  2. Search for your next jolly (make sure it's within the credit’s T&C period!). 🌴

  3. Apply the credit at the checkout stage before you hit pay. 💳

  4. Easy as that—your credit is applied instantly! ✨


The Voucher vs. Credit Cheat Sheet 📝
